I OUGHT TO SHOW UP ANYDAY, EVERYDAY

Ok so, ever got to a point in life and wondered what the actual point to life really is…

Is it so hard to imagine, that I just might be the very reason why I must live life? That I am in fact the main agenda of my own life? That should I lose myself for anything or in anything, then all is lost? If I must strive to live, it is because I have been found worthy of life itself …therefore I must strive to live the best version of myself!

Yeah, I have been trying to figure this one out for a while now. And just when I think I’ve got it figured out, here comes another swerve. It keeps going on and on, you-got-this-but-then-you-don’t affair. Each time it's a learning experience, another learning curve.

True, life does not happen in a straight line. I wouldn’t call it cyclic either. It's a misshapen of straight lines and curves, that weird thing the earphones do in your pocket.

I was at it a while, trying to measure the purpose to life by quantifiable till I remembered this one thing, “What does it profit a man if he should gain the world and lose his soul?” What is Soul then…?

I cannot claim to know what it is; I do know one thing for sure. Man is created a Spirit, born a Body and Incarnated a Soul. This Soul, although eternal, shares characteristics with both the Spirit and the Body. Like an in-between, because it is. The dual nature of the Soul makes it a fickle thing, able to sway this way and that. Able to be modelled into this and that. Having characteristics of Body, the Soul is incarnated a baby in every sense of the way other than in time. The idea is to raise it from the body like state to a spirit like state.

I do not need to figure anything out other than the reason for my existing in the very moment and very point in which I do. The Universe, in reflection to the Creator, is very precise and purposeful in its actions. Therefore, even my existence is with reason and purpose, they do not come from anywhere else but from my very Being. Therefore, what does I AM that I AM mean?

There is a catch to this of course, other entities especially those of the spirit are able to and will try to influence the trajectory. Then remember that you do have a Spirit, pure and pristine in its form. This is where we need to reach. It's almost like walking backwards, back to where we began. Now, we need to navigate this vast lane, constantly intersecting with many others, called life and reach the other end in the pristine spirit like state.

Psychologically speaking it needs that we be able to recognize the events happening all around us for what they are without bending to exterior whims and falling into pressure. We must know ourselves so well that we can recognize when external voices are speaking in and through us. We must know who we are and why we are, so much so that we cannot be anything else other than this. The game is to be cognizant of the world while retaining the innocence. As much of what we can at least.

I guess this just might be the point to life, to grow certain values and virtues with every bend in the curve being an opportunity to practice these things. To love when all we see is hate, to choose peace when all around is madness. To fill with joy when the main course is misery. To choose kindness, goodness, faithfulness in a den of dishonor. Have patience in an instant world, humility in a room full of brags and above all else, self-control.

Note, all the above mentioned (Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control) work best when self-value and worth are known and maintained. They should not be taken as reason to withstand abuse of any kind. When you are violated rather than violate back, simply walk away. AND STAY AWAY!
